Ariana Grande Continues Giving Back to Manchester with Christmas Present Donation

Ariana Grande is continuing to give back to the Manchester community, five years after a tragic bombing at her concert in the city.

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity revealed on social media that the 29-year-old singer and actress donated several Christmas presents to young patients at their hospitals.

“⭐ Thank you Ariana! ⭐ We were so excited to receive Christmas gifts for young patients across our hospitals from @arianagrande 🎁,” they shared on Instagram.

The charity revealed that the gifts from Ariana went out to babies, children and teenagers at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.

“It’s so wonderful that Ariana has once again been so thoughtful and made this special donation to our family of hospitals,” Tanya Hamid, Interim Director of Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, shared in a statement on the post.

“We know Manchester, and in particular Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, holds a special place in Ariana’s heart.”

It’s been over five years since the tragedy, and just earlier this year, the Glade of Light Memorial was opened at Manchester Cathedral, commemorating the victims of the bombing. Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, were in attendance at the grand opening.

The memorial honors the 22 victims who lost their lives in the bombing, as well as the victims who were injured or affected. You can see a photo of the tranquil garden space in the gallery.
