Demi Lovato just released their second rock version of an older song!
The 30-year-old Grammy-nominated entertainer dropped “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version)” on Thursday (May 25), two months after their last rock version release.
Once again, Demi re-recorded vocals, with updated music production by her frequent collaborator Warren ‘Oak’ Felder, as well as Keith “Ten4″ Sorrelles and Alex Nice.
Check out the new version inside…
Demi‘s re-release of the summer hit comes eight years after it’s original release in July 2015, as the lead single off of her fifth album, Confident. The song also got several remixes, but this adds an edgier twist to the track that hasn’t been done before.
Last summer, Demi performed the rock version on her Holy Fvck Tour, and fans begged for the rock versions to be released, which she’s been delivering!
Other older songs performed on the tour include “Confident,” “Skyscraper,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” and more. See the set list here to refresh your memory.
Hopefully we get more rock versions from Demi!!
