Louis Tomlinson is speaking out after a hail storm hit his concert at Red Rocks Ampitheatre on Wednesday night (June 21) in Morrison, Colo.
The 31-year-old singer was supposed to perform at the latest stop on his Faith in the Future World Tour when a severe solstice hail storm came down on fans.
West Metro Fire, who responded to the venue and worked with Stadium Medical on site, reported on Twitter that they treated 80-90 people for injuries, including cuts and broken bones. There were also seven people who were transported to area hospitals.
That night, Louis took to Twitter to share a message to fans.
See what he said inside…
“Devastated about the show tonight, hope everyone’s ok, I’ll be back! Even though we didn’t play the show I felt all of your passion! Sending you all love!” he wrote.
The concert had faced delays due to the weather, with the venue sharing updates on social media as well. Ultimately, as stated, Louis did not take the stage, and the venue has revealed that refund information will come from Live Nation.
Fans in attendance responded in the replies of Louis‘ post, noting that there were many that really stuck together and helped others out, with groups huddling together and using sweaters, boxes and more to shield themselves and others from the storm.
