Among Us is heading to television!
The popular video game from Innersloth, which rose to immense popularity during the pandemic, is being developed into an animated TV series with CBS Eye Animation Productions, Variety reported on Tuesday (June 27).
“HELLO 🚨 WE’RE MAKING AN ANIMATED TV SHOW!!!!! 🚨,” the video game’s official Twitter shared, with lots of A’s and an “OHMYGOD” in the middle of them.

The series will follow the premise of the game, where “Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs.”
The animation studio behind Big Mouth and Star Trek: Lower Decks, Titmouse, will work on the animation for the upcoming series, which will see Owen Dennis as creator and executive producer.
There is currently no network attached to air the project at this time, but stay tuned as more is revealed!
