Christopher Briney is opening up about his The Summer I Turned Pretty co-stars!
The 25-year-old actor stars as Conrad Fisher in the Prime Video series adaptation, which is based off of Jenny Han‘s book series of the same name.
He and his co-stars are set to return to “Cousins Beach,” aka Wilmington, North Carolina, to begin production on the upcoming third season later this month.
In a new interview with Teen Vogue for their New Hollywood 2024 feature, Christopher opened up about the bond the cast and crew has created working on the show.
Check out what he said inside…
“I love them all so much,” the Mean Girls actor told the publication. “It’s not a work relationship; they’re friends. I think sometimes I forget that we work together, and I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s right. We have a job. I’ve known you for two years.’”
“We’re all close now, to this point where I can be like, ‘I’m not hearing it. I need help,’” he added.
Christopher also revealed at the time of the interview, he had not read any scripts for the upcoming season, but he has read the books.
“Jenny is keeping it fresh and new, always, and she wants to keep it interesting and keep the audience on their toes,” he says of book writer Jenny Han, who is also a writer, producer and co-showrunner on the series.
If you somehow missed it, Christopher‘s co-star Lola Tung is currently starring on Broadway in Hadestown. Her last performance is this coming Sunday (March 17)!
