Aryan Simhadri, Leah Sava Jeffries and Walker Scobell pose for a group photo while attending D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this past weekend!
The main trio of Percy Jackson and the Olympians took time away from filming the Disney+ series’ upcoming second season to attend the event.
On night one (August 9), they hit the stage with author Rick Riordan to tease the new season and they shared a start of production video, to commemorate they started filming in Vancouver. They also bumped into Lin-Manuel Miranda, who played Hermes in season one, backstage.
On Saturday (August 10), they joined co-stars Jason Manzoukas, Daniel Diemer, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Toby Stephens for a panel, where three more new additions to the cast were announced.

Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal and Margaret Cho were announced to be cast as the Gray Sisters, according to THR, “who run a taxi service (also known as the Chariot of Damnation) and share one eye and one tooth between them.”
Sandra is playing Anger, “who’s in charge of collecting fares and is impatient to get her turn using the eye.” Kristen is Tempest, “who currently has the eye and uses it to watch the heroes, read their futures — and tease them about their social lives.” Margaret will play Wasp, “the main driver of the taxi who takes the demigods on a wild ride to Camp Half-Blood.”
Season two is, of course, going to be based on book two, “The Sea of Monsters,” where Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.
Filming is currently underway in Vancouver and will debut on Disney+ in 2025.
