Wizards Beyond Waverly Place star Janice LeAnn Brown is singing the show’s theme song!
The young actress can be heard singing the theme “Everything Is Not What It Seems” for the Disney Channel sequel series, which was originally sung by Selena Gomez for the OG Wizards of Waverly Place.
Disney has now released Janice‘s full version of the song, which features a brand new verse that fits the new series and her character.

“Well, I’m stepping through a world where I try to fit in / But I can make things happen with a sly little grin / And I’m ready to unleash all my power within / Let’s begin,” Janice sings, followed by the same OG chorus.
