Disney Branded Television has ordered a new dramedy pilot, tentatively titled Coven Academy!
The potential new series comes from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series creator Tim Federle, through his overall deal with Disney Branded Television, per Deadline.

Coven Academy will be a single-camera supernatural dramedy that centers on a coven of teenage witches-in-training who must protect their town from a looming threat. The series will air on Disney Channel and Disney+.
Tim will also executive produce alongside Bronwyn North-Reist through his Chorus Boy Productions. If you didn’t know, he also executive produces the upcoming live-action Vampirina series coming later this year to Disney Channel and Disney+.
In addition to his upcoming series for Disney Branded Television, Tim is also set to direct a Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel movie, AND he is writing the book for the upcoming The Greatest Showman stage musical, which will debut a try-out production in the UK in 2026!
