It’s official – Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is coming back for a season two!
Disney just announced the exciting news and shared a video of the cast – David Henrie, Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora and Mimi Gianopulos – helping make the announcement.
In the video, the stars of the show display a hat that has the logo and “Season 2″ written across it, set to the funky hat song from the original series.

So many surprises in store for this second season. It’s going to be big, so stay tuned!” David shared in a statement.
Production on the second season is set to begin THIS April in Los Angeles!
The first episode of Wizards Beyond was the most watched Disney Channel series premiere EVER on Disney+, garnering million views globally in the first 12 days.
Since the first ep was also posted to YouTube, it has racked up over 2.3 million views and 320,000 hours.
David Henrie and Selena Gomez, who appeared as a guest star in two season one episodes, also serve as executive producers.
