Matt Cornett, Ramon Reed and Brec Bassinger are set to star in an upcoming movie together!
The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Just Roll With It and DC’s Stargirl alums are all uniting for the indie comedy Bad Counselors, according to Deadline.
Also set to star are Sweet Magnolias‘ Chris Klein and Missi Pyle.

Per Deadline, the movie is “described as a fish-out-of-water comedy that follows two hard-partying fraternity brothers who pose as middle school camp counselors to work off community service and salvage their senior year.”
Chris Dowling is directing, with a script from Dexter Masland, Ryan Gunnarson and Taylor Grabowsky.
Also in the cast are McKaley Miller, Nathan Gamble, Ja’Marion Kennedy and Markiel Cockrell.
Filming on the pic is wrapping up in North Carolina.
“My dream of being a frat bro who partied too hard and has to become a camp counselor to save himself just came true!! Wow!! 🏕️🔥🌳,” Matt shared on Instagram with the casting news.
Brec commented on his post, “Omg my dream of becoming the girl next door who has a crush on the new camp counselor ALSO came true?!!!!! Crazy !!!!!!”
Most recently, Matt was seen in the Hulu movie Summer of 69, Ramon was in an episode of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and starred in Netflix’s 13: The Musical movie, while Brec recently starred in Final Destination: Bloodlines.
