Maia Kealoha is reacting to some very exciting news!
The young actress stars as Lilo in the live-action Lilo & Stitch that was released in theaters earlier this summer.
It was just announced that a sequel is currently in development, and she took to social media to celebrate the news!

Disney shared the exciting news on 626 Day (June 26) with a fun video of Stitch driving the pink car around the Disney lot, featuring the number two in quite a few ways.
It ended with the alien writing “Lilo & Stitch 2” in tire marks on the pavement. Check it out below!
Under the video post, Maia reacted, writing, “Cheehooo!!”
If you didn’t know, “Chee hoo” is a phrase used in Hawaii and by Samoans for celebration, encouragement and support.
Just last weekend, Maia was one of many stars who stepped out for the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards, and also hit the stage as a presenter alongside Brie Garcia.
Maia even reunited with Moana star and fellow Hawaiian native Auli’i Cravalho at the event!
