
Young Dylan is opening up about the end of his show Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan.
The 16-year-old actor and rapper, whose real name is Dylan Gilmer, has broken his silence on the Nickelodeon series being canceled after five seasons on air.

“I started Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan at 10 years old. Dylan‘s statement comes just a week after he attended the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards, where he presented and was nominated.
Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan was up for Favorite Kids TV Show, Dylan and co-star Hero Hunter were nominated for Favorite Male TV Star (Kids), and Celina Smith was nominated for Favorite Female TV Star (Kids). Check out the full list of KCA winners!
