“Any chance that I get to see a character that represents me on screen, it’s always very comforting and it does make me feel a little less alone,” Frankie shares in the clip, which is from a new episode of the Disney+ YouTube series Bridging the Gap.
“Getting to play an openly gay character on a Disney franchise and have people reach out and say, ‘Your character gave me the confidence to come out to my family this week,’ you’re kind of like blown away. Like, wow, that is having an impact on somebody,” he added.
