Chloe Bailey, Quavo & More Step Out to Premiere New Movie 'Praise This'

Chloe Bailey and Quavo snap a fun photo together while attending the premiere of their upcoming movie Praise This held at Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University on Monday (April 3) in Atlanta, Ga.

The two music stars will be starring in the new film, which is set in the world of Atlanta’s competitive gospel youth choir praise teams.

Also hitting the carpet at the event were their co-stars Druski, Tristan Mack Wilds, Birgundi Baker, Loren Lott, Crystal Hayslett, Cocoa Brown, Vanessa Fraction, Jekalyn Carr, Koryn Hawthorne, Rafael Castillo, Kendrick Cross, Philip Fornah and Janora McDuffie, as well as director Tina Gordon.

Recently, Chloe opened up about how she hopes the film resonates with audiences.

See what she said inside…

“Me and my castmates wanted to represent Black people organically and not make it feel fake or corny—we wanted it to feel like us… It had every type of person in Atlanta, and it represented us in such a diverse way, because there’s never one type of Black person,” the singer told Cosmpolitan. “I love how you also get to see the diversity within the choir groups and the teams too. You had the gay group, the white boy group, the Black girls who were saving themselves for marriage. Even people who aren’t spiritual can find a piece of themselves in the film.”
