We are getting a sneak peek at the new Rogers: The Musical!
The upcoming one act musical debuts at the Disney California Adventure Park’s Hyperion Theater THIS weekend at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.

Inspired by the fictional musical in the Marvel TV series Hawkeye, Rogers: The Musical follows Steve’s journey becoming Captain America and his relationship with Peggy Carter, Avengers aficionados will appreciate creative interpretations of iconic objects and moments, such as Steve’s notebook and the use of the Time Stone to revisit his past.
“The moment we saw ‘Save the City’ performed in the ‘Hawkeye’ series on Disney+, it sparked an idea: What if we could bring ‘Rogers: The Musical’ to life at Disneyland Resort? I’m thrilled that audiences are finally going to get to experience the humor, heroism and heart of that show on stage at the Hyperion Theater,” Dan Fields, Executive Creative Director at Disney Live Entertainment, shared.
“It is amazing and surreal to be part of the ‘Rogers: The Musical’ team, and the task of capturing this rich story in a one-act production is a lot less challenging with such brilliant collaborators. Love stories make great musicals, and our show is largely guided by the relationship between Steve Rogers and the remarkable Peggy Carter,” said Hunter Bell, who wrote the script for the musical.
The new one act musical will feature five brand new original songs, as well as unique arrangements of “Star Spangled Man” and “Save The City.”
Disneyland guests will be able to get access to viewing areas for the musical through a virtual queue on the Disneyland app. Distribution of the virtual queue for each day’s performances will begin at 10:30am PT for the first two shows, and at 2pm PT for the remaining shows of that day.
In addition to the musical, there will be limited time food offerings at select locations in Disney California Adventure, including patriotic and heroically themed food and beverages fit for a Super-Soldier, such as a cherry, vanilla and blue raspberry shake; sausage and pepperoni wrap; and pastrami pretzel dog. Vending carts outsid the theater will also offer a popcorn bucket. Check out photos of the food in the gallery!
Rogers: The Musical opens at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park THIS Friday (June 30) and runs through August 31st.
