Dora The Explorer has a brand new look!
The beloved animated character for preschoolers is hitting the big screen for the first time, showing off her new CG-animated look.
A new short film, Dora and the Fantastical Creatures, will play in theaters ahead of the upcoming PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, starting Friday, September 29th!

In the theatrical short, Dora and Boots embark on an incredible adventure to the land of alebrijes, the most magical and colorful creatures in the rainforest. There, they must band together against Swiper to save the beloved alebrijes and their Copal Tree Celebration.
Starring in the short film are Diana Zermeño as the voice of Dora; Asher Spence as Boots; Marc Weiner reprises his role of Swiper the Fox; Anairis Quiñones as Luna Arcoiris; Danny Burstein as Sol; and Kate del Castillo as Ale.
Following the release of the short film, additional Dora content will be made available across Nickelodeon platforms, Paramount+ and Noggin.
Dora and the Fantastical Creatures is just the beginning as a new Dora series is on the way, with the following also joining the voice cast of the series: Anairis Quiñones as Map and The Fiesta Trio’s armadillo; Maria Canals-Barrera as Abuela; Danny Burstein as Grumpy Old Troll, and The Fiesta Trio’s frog and marmoset; Katarina Sky as Backpack; Donovan Monzon-Sanders as Tico; Tandi Fomukong as Isa; Quintún Muñoz as Benny; and Chris Gifford as Big Red Chicken.
In addition to the upcoming CG-animated series, a live action version of Dora is also in the works for Paramount+!
