The cancellation was announced on Friday (January 5), one day after the cast’s options expired, according to Deadline.

While the show’s fate has been decided by Disney+, the outlet reported that there are hopes to continue shopping it around to other networks.

This is the first cancellation of the year at Disney+, but several other shows still have uncertain fates.

Notably, the one generating the most buzz at the moment is Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which premiered in late 2023 on the streamer. Some of the show’s producers addressed the future of the show amid questions about a second season.
