The first photos from School Spirits season four have fans worrying about Milo Manheim‘s fate in the television show.
Paramount+ debuted two cast photos this past week, announcing that the upcoming for fourth season is now in production.
“back to school already? #schoolspirits season 4 is now in production,” the School Spirits Instagram account captioned the pics.
Noticeably missing was Milo Manheim, who commented, “Sorry I forgot to switch out of my ghost form for this photo.”
Is Milo Manheim returning for School Spirits season four?
Milo‘s comment on the Instagram post eases some fans’ minds about his return, while others commented on the pic asking where he was and wondering if he’ll even be returning at all.
At the time of this post, it is not officially confirmed whether Milo will reprise his role as Wally Clark. The character is “a lovable ghost from the 1980s who in his glory days was a star high school football player,” according to Deadline.
Milo has been in Spain for the past few months, where he’s filming the upcoming live-action adaptation of Disney’s hit animated musical Tangled. He will play the male lead, Flynn Rider.
This isn’t the first time Milo was not present for the first table read or at the start of production.
When filming for season three began, Milo was also not present at the first table read as, once again, he was working on another project.
It is highly possible that Milo will be back for School Spirits after filming on Tangled wraps, potentially lending to his role on the TV show being smaller than the past few seasons due to his current availability.
