David Henrie and Selena Gomez are back as two of the Russo siblings in the first look at the new series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place!
Serving as a sequel to the fan-favorite Wizards of Waverly Place, the actors reprise their roles of Justin and Alex Russo, and serve as executive producers. However, David will be a part of the main cast, while Selena is only set to appear in the first episode, for now.
In the first look video, we even get to see a glimpse of David DeLuise, who is set to reprise his role as the patriarch of the family, Jerry Russo.

Also in the clip, fans get to see the first footage from the new series, including behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen clips, as well as moments with the series lead cast!
Here’s a synopsis: The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.
Also starring in the show are Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is currently in production, and is set to debut on Disney Channel and Disney+ later this year.
