Stars from Heartstopper reunite on the black carpet at the Vanity Fair EE BAFTA 2025 Rising Star Party held at Pavyllon London on Wednesday (Febuary 5) in London.
Joe Locke reunited with co-stars Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood and Corinna Brown for a group photo at the event. His on-screen older sister Jenny Walser was also in attendance.

The party is held to celebrate the 2025 EE Bafta Rising Star nominees, which include Marisa Abela, Jharrel Jerome, David Jonsson, Mikey Madison and Nabhaan Rizwan. The winner will be announced Sunday, February 16th at the 2025 BAFTAs.
Just a few days before, Joe was in attendance at the Human Rights Campaign 2025 Greater New York Dinner, where he was honored with the org’s Impact Award. Dylan Mulvaney presented him with the honor. See photos in the gallery!
“I have had so many conversations with people about how a show like Heartstopper would have positively impacted their life if it had been made when they were younger,” he said during his speech. “We can’t fix the mistakes of society’s past, but I am so proud that a show as outwardly queer as Heartstopper can be made today, and I hope with every fiber of my being, that we never return to a world that young queer people can’t see themselves represented in the media they consume…. I promise to continue to use the platform that I have been given to do the right thing, not the easy thing.”
We are still awaiting news whether Heartstopper will be renewed for a fourth season, though author and creator Alice Oseman is really pulling for another season.
