Just Jared Jr: How exciting is to come back to Zombies amid your busy and rising careers since the last movie?

Meg: So incredible. Yeah, I feel like, just living a bunch of different lives, it’s really cool to see how much we’ve grown together and just supporting each other through the many different lives that we live. Like, even just seeing him in Little Shop, it’s so surreal how far we’ve come. And then to come back to Zombies 4, it’s just so comfortable. And it just, it always just feels nostalgic from when we first met, but then also just really comfortable. I feel like working with Milo, I don’t have to think at all, if that makes sense. So it just feels really nice to kind of turn my brain off and just have fun. It’s challenging and very hard work, but at the same time, it’s just fun. It’s so fun. So it was awesome, especially being in New Zealand.

Milo: I know. It felt like a whole new experience. But not only has this just erupted into something so big in my life, it’s also the first thing I ever did. So it always feels like I’m coming back home with Meg doing these things. Look, it’s hard dancing and singing and whatnot, but being on camera with Meg and, you know, the rest of the OGs [Chandler Kinney and Kylee Russell], and the newbies also at this point, it’s just very, we’re just at ease here. It just feels really good to be a part of something like this.

Just Jared Jr: How has it been ushering in the next generation to continue with these monster stories?

Milo: It’s like perfect timing, first of all. I think that this is like, you know, Addison and Zed are at a great place in their relationship and they’re gonna go live their lives, but that’s not the story that we’re telling right now. We’re gonna continue telling the story of, you know, the new generation fighting for what they think is right as well. But they’re also just fantastic. Like, there’s a small part of me when we were getting into this where I’m like, you know, this feels like the somewhat of a goodbye, which made me sad. But then quickly after finding these kids and getting going with this, I was just so happy that they are carrying this torch and will continue the Zombies legacy.

Just Jared Jr: Since this movie takes place at camp, have you ever been and did filming the movie bring back any memories at camp?

Meg: No. You went to French Woods, right?

Milo: I’ve been to summer camp. I went to French Woods camp.

Meg: French Woods is crazy.

Milo: Yeah, honestly nuts camp.

Meg: That was part of my childhood. I never went, but so many of my friends went. And so when you were like, I went to French Woods, I was like, what?

Milo: It’s a crazy camp, and good luck to anybody that goes in it.

Meg: I went to theater camp, not like that, obviously that’s theater camp, but it was a sleepaway theater camp, but I just went to a camp during the day, and went home and slept every day. And there was a musical review kind of thing of a bunch of hodgepodge song.

Milo: But you know what, this Zombies 4 campsite feels very classic, making s’mores by the fire.

Meg: We’ve only been to theater camp. I’ve never been to like [an actual] camp, you know? So, this was cool to experience like actual camp for the first time.
