‘Big City Greens’ Returns for Season 5, Trailer & Guest Stars Revealed

Big City Greens is back after a two-year hiatus!

The animated series is returning later this month for its fifth season on Disney Channel, and the trailer and star-studded guest cast lineup have been unveiled.

What is Big City Greens about?

The series “follows the offbeat adventures of 10-year-old Cricket Green, a mischievous and optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his wildly out-of-place family — older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice. Cricket’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm lead him and his family on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbors. The new season follows the family and their friends as they navigate some of their biggest adventures yet!”

Who stars in Big City Greens?

The animated series stars the voices of Chris Houghton (Cricket Green), Marieve Herington (Tilly Green), Bob Joles (Bill Green), Artemis Pebdani (Gramma Alice), Wendi McLendon-Covey (Nancy Green), Zeno Robinson (Remy), and Anna Akana (Gloria).

Reprising their recurring guest star roles are Danny Trejo (Vasquez), Alfred Molina (Cogburn), Jameela Jamil (Phoenix), Colin Hanks (Mark), and Dan Stevens (Saxon).

Joining the new season as guest stars include Stephen King, Luke Combs, Dylan Sprouse, Megan Stalter, Chad Michael Murray, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, as well as Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Matt Gourley, Sona Movsesian, Aaron Bleyaert, Martha Kelly, Steve Schirripa, and Mike Colter.

This season will feature a Halloween-themed episode starring Stephen King, and a winter-themed episode starring Megan Stalter!

When does season five premiere?

Big City Greens season five is set to debut the first five episodes on Disney Channel on August 21st at 8 pm ET/PT, and streaming the next day on Disney+. Additional episodes are set to roll out through the remainder of the year and in 2027.
