MrBeast Is Suing His MrBeast Burger Food Delivery Partner - Find Out Why!

MrBeast is taking legal action!

The 25-year-old YouTube star, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is suing Virtual Dining Concepts, the company responsible for delivering his MrBeast Burgers across the world.

Since the food’s launch in 2020, there have been many complaints regarding the quality of food that customers have received, from raw meat, to some calling it “revolting” and “likely the worst burger [they] ever had,” as reported by Bloomberg.

The partnership for the food delivery brought burgers and fries combos into homes across the country through “ghost restaurants,” available to order on food delivery apps or on the MrBeast Burger website.

According to the lawsuit, “As a result, MrBeast Burger has been regarded as a misleading, poor reflection of the MrBeast brand that provides low-quality products to customers that are delivered late, in unbranded packaging, fail to include the ordered items, and in some instances, were inedible.”

MrBeast is seeking to end the partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts, citing a lack of quality control and he notes that his complaints “fell on deaf ears.”

The lawsuit also states that the company was more focused on trying to expand their business and pulling in other celebrities, and not focusing on controlling the quality of MrBeast Burger.

In the complaint, they also claim that the company is using MrBeast‘s image without his permission and has registered MrBeast Burger trademarks they weren’t allowed to do.

“Virtual Dining Concepts repeatedly denied MrBeast his valuable approval rights by posting his name, image, and brand on social media and elsewhere without first obtaining his written approval and consent,” the lawsuit states. “Further, in violation of their agreements and trademark law, Virtual Dining Concepts registered various trademarks throughout the world using MrBeast’s name and brand, without any right to do so and without his consent or knowledge (and they listed themselves as the sole owners of the trademarks).”

In 2022, MrBeast opened the first Beast Burger restaurant in New Jersey, and there have been 1,700 restaurants nationwide fulfilling orders for the fast food.

Back in June, MrBeast responded to a tweet asking if MrBeast Burger was done, as a video around the product had been deleted and the account hadn’t tweeted in a while.

He responded, “Yeah, the problem with Beast Burger is i can’t guarantee the quality of the order. When working with other restaurants it’s impossible to control it sadly.”

Jimmy added that he enjoys his other product, Feastables, “100x more” and he’s much more passionate about that.

As of the time of this post, MrBeast Burger is still available to be ordered online and through food delivery apps.
